Whew, July was a rough month. It wasn’t easy to eke out time to paint, but I never regret it when I do. Few things are as calming. We just got a nice big, solid table we can spread out on for crafting/art projects, so it’s been lovely to have that new space. My cat, Martha, has been enjoying her newfound ability to supervise my progress. I’m hoping she doesn’t leave her stamp — trying to remember to cordon off anything that’s not yet dry!

I’m also excited to try out some VERY fine new brushes that just arrived, maybe my work will look tidier/more intentional. They’ll take some getting use to for sure!
